Product Review: Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream

Hey Dolls

So after months of pondering i finally caved in and brought this product probably because of a increase of dry skin around my nose and patches on my cheek. I brought this product quite a while back so i have been using this for some time now.

It was created in 1930 by Elizabeth Arden to soothe skin, legend claims clients that used this for skin healing saw their skin healed in 8 hours hence the name.

What it claims it does

  • helps protect, soothe and moisturise skin.
  • soothes dry skin and provide anti-inflammatory benefits.
  • soothes and comforts minor weather burns, scrapes and abrasions.

What I think

The main reason of purchasing this was the increase of dry skin on my face. I always have slightly dry skin, but recently my skin around my nose is patchy and it actually hurt every time i touched it, this was obviously due to my excessive sneezing and sniffling in the winters so this was the main reason i purchased it .
This can be used on dry skin, chapped lips and cuticles. Consistency is quite thick and sticky, this is something that i would not apply earlier in the day. i actually apply this on my hands, feet and cuticles at night just before i go to bed and when i wake up my skin feels so soft but not greasy at all. My skin also feels healed and smooth after applying it. This products does wonder for dry skin, so if you suffer  from it or if you skin feel slightly dehydrated i would definitely recommend. I personally think it does what it claims as it has soothed my dry skin especially around my nose definitely i will be purchasing again as hydrated and clear skin ensures a perfect base for makeup and I'm a sucker for clear and amazing skin so anything that helps it i will be purchasing.

I brought mine from feelunique.com for £21.25
