Review-Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

Hey

I've been using this foundation for nearly six months now and its become one of most reached products over the past few months. Firstly to give you a quick background on my skin type, I have quite dry skin and in winters I suffer from having such dull skin. I've always been looking for  products that make my skin glow. I did research before buying this product as it is quite pricey and I didn't want to just spend a lot without checking out reviews

As you can tell from the picture it has a sheen to it.

What the company claims

  • Weightless-oil free
  • Natural finish
  • Sheer to moderate coverage
Price £34.50

I apply this with my real technique buffing brush which is amazing and gives me such a amazing flawless finish. When I apply this it does not make me look cakes at all and blends well in with my skin. It definitely does give a luminous finish, though this is suppose to give you a dewy finish I would suggest that it gives a satin finish which is not matt nor dewy. On a long uni day this will last about 5-6 hours then it starts to look patchy on me but nothing a bit of powdering couldn't solve. I pair this with my channel bronze universal, which I'm loving at the moment. Armani claims that it is sheer-moderate coverage I would class this as medium to full coverage, which is why on good skin days I only use half a pump. Overall I do love this foundation it has been I product that I've been reaching out for in my morning routine some time now. The price is quite high so I would recommend to get a sample if you can before purchasing it so you could judge for yourself. I probably will be purchasing again. Hope you liked my review

Mehj xx
