Review-Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick

Hey hope your all well.

As you can tell by the title this is a review on the hourglass rouge opaque lipstick I originally was never a lipstick fan but over the years I've branched out and I've never looked back . I love a long lasting matte lipstick so when I heard about the hourglass opaque rouge lipstick which I heard from the lovely Anna from viviannadoesmakeup on her blog I knew it was right up my street. I purchased mine from space nk online and couldn't wait to try it.

Hourglass rouge opaque lipstick- Raven

I brought the colour Raven as its a great bold red.

As its name suggests its a liquid lipstick, you put a thin layer, but make sure you don't rub your lips together as it won't really last and doesn't really come out right as I realised the first time. It lasts for up to 8-10 hours on me and doesn't budge which is amazing about the tenth hour its there but can get flaky. Even after I eat it still last not as great as first time applied but not a noticeable fade in colour. You have to wait a couple mins for it to dry which can be a bit annoying when your in a hurry. Make sure your lips are dry when applying as it doesn't really stain as well. It has antioxidants, fruit extracts, cili fruit, goji berry and vitamins A,C and E to help protect the lip throughout the day.
They are nine shades available I do feel like they could get more shades but they ones that are available are really nice.
Retails at £23

  1. Oh i'm so jealous you have this! I've wanted one of these for a while now but i just can't justify spending that much on a lipstick at the moment :( Next time i want a splurge this will be the top of my list! The colour looks great by the way. Love a bright red lip.
