Baby Lips Worth The Hype ???

So I purchase one of the most hyped products in the beauty world the Maybeline baby lips, my expectations were not as high as a lot of other people because of the mixed reviews. I've been using this for about 2.5 weeks now and I thought I'd type my take on these.

I brought 3 because of the 3 for 2 offer in boots, two are clear while the pink punch is a blue toned pink, its quite sheer not super pigmented like the revlon lip butters. They glide effortlessly, smell fruity I love fruity smells personally so I have no problem with that. They also come in cute packaging to however it does remind me of vaseline but a less thicker version, for those of you that are vaseline users you will probably like this I don't as I never wear vaseline I prefer Carmex.

Maybeline claims its suppose to hydrate lips for 8 hours I would say it last 3-4 hours on me before I need to reapply. I do not think it hydrates my lips but it does lock the current moisture in lips which I like because if I'm in a hurry I apply this and know it will not make my lips any drier then they already are. It also claims it makes lips softer after 4 weeks can't really comment about that as I've only being using this for 2.5 weeks

The fact that it has spf 20 is great as spf on lips is not really a priority for me so its great to know it
already has it in.
Overall I'm pretty disappointed as they were so HYPED as if it was holy grail and personally its just another average lip balm, its cute to have in your bag if you travel and the spf is great but I don't know if I'll be rushing to restock when it runs out.

Retails at £2.99
