FOTD #10

It was my cousins pre wedding party a couple of weeks ago, so I thought I would go through what makeup I used to great the look that I went for. I started of with my eyes, for a base I used mac painterly paint pot this just neutralises my eyelid, then I went in with urban decay half baked and patted that in on 1/3 of my eye, then I used the deepest red colour there was in my coastal scents palette and patted that in all over the rest of my eyelid using my zoeva 234 smoky shader brush this really packs on the colour. I then used the black shade with a zoeva 228 crease brush and lightly blended that in a outer v shape the key to this is blending keep blending till you are happy with colour you can add more black if you want go really dramatic. For eyeliner I used my trustee Mac gel liner in black track with a zoeva 316 classic liner brush and thinly lined my eyes doing a winged liner towards the end. I then took of my wash tape which I used to keep the sharp edge giving it a cat eye look. For my face I stated off with primer I used the baby skin by Maybeline and then used my favourite Giorgio armani luminous skin foundation in shade 5 I buffed this in with my Real techniques buffing brush. For concealer I decided to go light with the Maybeline eraser eye concealer I patted this in with my ring finger as its so light and easy to blend. I quickly set this in with my Ben nye banana powder. For blush I wanted something natural not to over powering so I used the Max factor miracle touch creamy blush in soft pink and finally for my lips I chose mac up the amp which is a nice purply colour but wearable.
